About Us

Troy Funk, Broker/Owner


Troy received his real estate license after graduating from Riverview High School in 1986.  Since that time, he has been power broker in the Sarasota market.   During his career, Troy has often sold more than 100 properties per year. Troy also maintains a team of real estate professionals who help him run one of the top REO departments in the state. 

Tanya Pekrul, REO Sales Manager


Tanya has been in the real estate business for over 20 years. She has worked in every aspect of  bank-owned and distressed real estate sales.  Prior to working for Realty ONE Group Skyline, Tanya worked for one of the top  REO agents in the world, managing 300+ assets a year in the Sarasota marketplace.   

Shannon Shafer, Office Manager


Shannon brings a wealth of experience to our company with 20 years as a real estate office manager. She worked for Century 21, RE/MAX, and Keller Williams before joining Realty One Group to manage the Tampa and Sarasota offices. 

Kyle Funk, Technology Director


Kyle was born and raised in Sarasota, FL. One of his biggest passions is music. Kyle is extremely adept at helping agents plug into all of the exciting technology opportunities that will promote business growth.

Alison DeFrancisci, Operations Director


Alison is first and foremost Mom to 4 kids. She loves to work in real estate teaching agents how to reach their maximum potential.


Community Outreach


Creating, building and fostering strong relationships form the foundation of everything important that we do --  from our family, friends and community --  to running a successful business. The importance of  relationships are why we believe in the gifts of giving and of gratitude. Our office will be the hub of exciting events, both professional and social, to benefit our community. We welcome ideas about how we can be of value.   

Mastermind Groups


Everyone has a unique set of talents, wisdom, and resources. When ideas are shared  in a cooperative alliance there is extraordinary potential for both personal and business growth. We intend to organize a number of mastermind groups within our office to continually strengthen the growth of our agents. These  groups will include programs specifically  targeted towards agents who want to build a team, lead generation and sales management.

Training and Education


Learning from an experienced mentor with ongoing accountability and feedback is one of the quickest paths to success. In order to facilitate optimal growth we encourage all new agents without prior lead generation or sales experience to join a real estate team within Realty ONE Group Skyline or to become a part of our 70/30 Mentoring Program.  Realty ONE Group Skyline will offer ongoing support to all of our agents through our national video training resources and mastermind groups.
